Here's a visual of where my adventure will take me throughout a specific region of #Ireland.

The only "repeats" from my first trip are that I will visit the Cliffs of Moher for a second time, and stay on the Dingle Peninsula for a couple days instead of a quick afternoon visit previously.

My search for a proper route that would take me into the countryside and use local housing accommodations started in the winter. I aimed for authenticity, and I believe I lucked out.

Actually earlier than that, after talking with a friend who frequently visits Ireland, the “bug” hit me and I knew it was what I had to do in the spring.

So, I’m off.

After an enchanting trip to Ireland 6 years ago and one successful book (A Smidgen of Irish Luck) authored, good fortune is sending me back to the Emerald Isle.

#Smidgenofirishluck check out on my #BOOKSTORE page.

Follow along LIVE as I begin in Dublin and wander into the southern countryside with a small Irish tour company, #InroadsIreland, that specializes in utilizing local accommodations and supporting restaurants/pubs in rural areas away from the beaten down tourist path.

A new revitalized purpose for my writing life could be just around the bend. I'll tip a pint to that.

Enjoy with me through words and pictures the scenery and delightful experiences I anticipate happening. After all, the Irish claim to be the friendliest people in the world, and there in itself is a perfect reason for another visit.

Okay. This is not the best example of night photography by any means.

What did inspire me was this magnificent temple honoring the goddess Diana merely 50 feet from the front entrance to the bed and breakfast - a former monastery - where I was staying in Evora.

Sometimes it is best to take the picture for the memory if for nothing else and leave the techniques to the professional photographers.
