Exploring Copan’s ruins


The crown jewel of Mayan efforts is seen here, and it is Honduras’ most important site.


There are way too many thoughts going through my head to describe the richness of the culture. Ball parks. Alters. Giant plaza. Intricate carvings. Stairs. More stairs.


The Hieroglyphic Stairway which has 63 steps with 2500 symbols is the Maya’s longest historical record.
