Reviewing old photos - this one from a visit to France in 2009 - bring out new possibilities for creative writing, especially when you convert the images to black and white.

People bury their heads in the newspaper, travel guide or the daily puzzle. They catch-up on conversations when not driving.


Not me. I'll save that for later.


I look out windows - buses, trains, cars, planes, and sometimes boats - and I often find myself lost in the beauty surrounding me and I want to capture this moment forever.


Not another castle? People miss it occupied with their own activities and take the back roads for granted on the way to their destination.
